Mark bought a 12.5" f/6 conical cross-section mirror from me in 2003 and built this all aluminum telescope. As the owner of a machine shop, he his well equipped to do this kind of advanced metal work. I keep hearing this scope attracts a lot of attention. |

Mark made this stud to support the mirror. The dual location of the O rings helps support the mirror evenly. The soft material at the top rests against the front of the mirror and is gently held in place by the two knurled retainers which lock against each other.
